Summer calls for more and more refreshing drinks to relief dry throat. the refreshing mint leaves and lemon flavour mixed with oranges is the excellent combination.

It is a perfect party mocktail which is easy, tasty and very simple to make.

This orange mojito is one of my favourite drink along with chaas, shikanji, watermelon mojito and sattu water.

I tasted mojito 6 year back in delhi when i came back from my hostel and started going college also bunking classes going to different cafes.😅

This orange mojito is without alcohol, you can add rum or vodka to make alcoholic version. I bet you guys, you’re going to love this refreshing orange mojito drink this summer.

Serve it with cheese burst bread pizza, chilli chicken, papad chaat, veg momos or paneer tikka.

This recipe is quick and super easy refreshing summer drink, also this recipe requires 6 basic ingredients:

  1. Mint leaves
  2. lemon wedges
  3. orange wedges
  4. orange juice (preferably fresh homemade juice)
  5. Limca or sprite
  6. a pinch of salt & ice cubes

To make the recipe quick I have used limca or use sprite instead of that, if you want to use club soda then add powdered sugar or sugar syrup with club soda.

How to make orange mojito at home

  • Muddle mint leaves, lemon wedges and orange wedges. muddle it with a muddler or with a back of a wooden spatula.

  • Then add in ice cubes and fresh orange then mix it well.
  • Now add limca or sprite and a pinch of salt and stir it. transfer the orange mojito a glass and garnish with sliced oranges and mint leaves.
  • Its ready to serve, serve it with snacks or nibble appetiser.

Top tips

  • It would be best to serve it fresh or you can store it in a closed pitcher or jug which is closed or sealed tightly and I would not recommend to store it for more than 1 day otherwise it may turn bitter.
  • You can add Fanta, sprite or 7up instead of limca.

This orange mojito is citrusy, fruity, tangy and very simple to make it is the perfect drink to try this summer and beat the heat.

This recipe can be made in less than 10 minutes, it is very refreshing and cooling.

Ingredients

  • 10-12 mint leaves
  • 6 orange wedges 
  • 6 lemon wedges 
  • ice cubes
  • 2/3 cup orange juice 
  • 1 cup limca or sprite
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl or jug add 10-12 mint leaves, 6 lemon and orange wedges, muddle it nicely.
  2. Then add in ice cubes, 2/3 cup fresh orange juice, limca and 1/8 teaspoon salt.
  3. Stir it well, transfer it to a serving class garnish it with sliced orange or mint leaves and it’s ready to serve.
