Eggless wheat cake with jaggery:so easy to make! this recipe needs very basic ingredients, mixing bowl and whisk. That’s it.

This cake recipe is the easiest and simplest just mix wet and dry ingredients, combine it well and bake. It does not need any special equipment and if you don’t have an oven that’s not the problem, make it in a pressure cooker.

Usually, people don’t consider using wheat flour in the cakes but you won’t be able to recognize that it has wheat in it and I have also added a very small quantity of semolina which takes the cake texture to another level.

Wheat flour is most consumed, famous and most preferred flour in India. It is used for preparing roti, desserts, snacks, pancake, and cake etc. I have used normal roti or chapati flour in this recipe.

Everyone will ask for this cake recipe when they will try it. Serve it with a tea or coffee or as an after a meal dessert.

5. Transfer the cake batter to the greased cake tin and bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degree Celsius for 35 to 40 minutes or until the toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.

2- Do whole wheat cake taste good?

Yes, absolutely it tastes delicious, there are 3 to 4 wheat cake recipes on my blog. Do check it out.

3- How to clean jaggery?

In my hometown we get loose black jaggery throughout the year and sometimes in winter white jaggery is available.

As we get loose jaggery it has dirt in it, so whenever I use it firstly I crumble it or make it into powder and then melt in in the water and lastly strain it in the strainer, all the dirt remain on the strainer and the clean liquid can be used.

You can also boil the Jaggery in the water and then strain it to remove impurities.
