3- How to clean jaggery?

In my hometown we get loose black jaggery throughout the year and sometimes in winter white jaggery is available.

As we get loose jaggery it has dirt in it, so whenever I use it firstly I crumble it or make it into powder and then melt in in the water and lastly strain it in the strainer, all the dirt remain on the strainer and the clean liquid can be used.

You can also boil the Jaggery in the water and then strain it to remove impurities.
