What is paratha?

Paratha is the whole wheat Indian bread, it can be made plain or stuffed. It is a very popular breakfast meal in India, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh.

It can be stuffed with any vegetables, sugar or jaggery.

Is paratha healthy?

Currently, I am reading Rujuta Diwekar book (eating in the age of dieting). she has mentioned the goodness of ghee and thrown out all the myth regarding ghee.

In 1 paratha we don’t add a cup of ghee it just requires few spoons and ghee taste is not overpowered on paratha.

So, paratha is healthy wholesome breakfast and before eating paratha their would be little ghee on the surface, apply the ghee on your lips with finger it will work as a lip balm. I always do this.😅

How to make cheeni paratha
