How to make badam milkshake
Add 1/4 cup milk, soaked, and peeled almonds to a grinding jar. Grind it until a smooth paste is formed. Keep it aside.

In a deep bottom pan or kadhai add full-fat milk, saffron strands, cardamom powder, and almond paste.
Stir it well.

Then add custard powder and milk mixture to it and keep stirring so that no lumps are formed.

Cook the milk at low flame until it gets 4-5 boils. Make sure to stir it more often so that it doesn’t burn from the bottom.

Once it gets 4-5 boils then add khaand (unrefined sugar) or white sugar, sliced soaked almonds, and yellow food color (optional).

Note- I have used khaand in this recipe which is unrefined and less sweet
Cook it for another 10-15 minutes at low to medium flame. Turn off the flame and let it come to normal room temperature, keep the badam milkshake or almond milkshake in the refrigerator and serve it chilled.

If you wish you can top it with sliced almonds, tutti-frutti, or vanilla ice cream.
